Insane!  Do you happen to know where this house is located?  Thanks so much for sharing and thinking of me, @madamerwin!

PS......LOVE your SN as my dad's name was Erwin :-D

ETA......just looked at the original link and see that it is in Elburn!  Might be worth the drive!
  • My fiance was very happy to see this, thank you for sharing!

  • It's in Elburn, IL. Off of Beith Road, I believe.

H's dad lives like three minutes from there. I haven't been in that area around the holidays at night in years, but even years ago there were TONS of cars sitting there looking at it.

Looks like some PPs found out where this is - I actually live in the Pacific Northwest and know nothing about the Chicago area, but since I know there are a lot of Blackhawk fans on here I wanted to share. I just can't imagine how much time and money it must have cost!

Re: Erwin being your dad's name... Did people misspell it all the time? Any time I have to spell my name out, I have to say "Erwin, with an E". And people still don't spell it Irwin :(

I'm pretty sure the family has a lighting company or something like that, so it's fantastic marketing.

I would be so uncomfortable being in that house with dozens and dozens of cars just sitting outside watching my house. A friend of mine went this weekend and waited an hour just to get close. I don't know if it was user error or if she was still too far away but she couldn't get the radio to work.

  • I'd just hate to be some of the neighbors.

Constantly.  He was also called "Irving" all the time.
