I figured we just needed a thread. This way we can all show off our Christmas trees and lights and everything else!

Outside in daytime so you can see my beautiful bows!

And in the dark - I need to replace my net lights and I have some on order at Lowe's.

I only took a couple of pictures, but the rest of my house just has random nick-nacks and nutcrackers scattered around.

Lights + Wreath....... I think my house looks lame without lights on the second story, so I don't want to share pictures of that.

And here is the entrance to my house. This is the view I have from the couch, and I love it.

Absolutely LOVE everyone's decorations! You've all seen the outside of my house and I don't have any pics yet of the inside (because I haven't done much yet) but eventually! 


Also, I'm in the market for a tree skirt. 

@labro @AlPacina @TwoDimes and anyone else... where did you get yours and how much was it, please and thank you?

@Swazzle I got my tree skirt at Target, but Pottery Barn has some really pretty ones on sale right now for $40ish.

I found a pretty tree skirt (all red with red beading) for $15 at Hobby Lobby (will post pics tomorrow hopefully).

@swazzle - I got mine at JoAnn. I think it was $40-ish. But it is so soft and beautiful. Nothing particularly fancy about it though.

H's mom crocheted a tree skirt for him a few years ago, so we use that.  It's cute and I'm too lazy to search for something else.

labro @AlPacina I'm impressed with any lights outside. My family never put any up outside and I'm kind of intimidated by it. Plus we don't have an outlet outside so we have no good way to put lights up.  Here's my tree and Potbelly stove. I never knew where to put my stockings so I got the shelf to hang them on this year!

@Swazzle I think I got my tree skirt at a Christmas store on 50% off sale....so probably around $25-$30?

@TwoDimes I love Indy in her bow. I have a Christmas sweater for Cinders. I'll have to get her dressed up with Maddux and Wilson soon for a picture!

I don't have a lot of decorations (we didn't put them up outside at all because we've been so busy) but here is what I have.

Here is H trying to fix our Christmas lights.  One strand was broken for our tree and wouldn't work with putting a new bulb in so instead of buying a new strand like most people he stripped the wiring then re-configured it in the strand and secured it with electrical tape.  So, yeah, here is hoping that doesn't burn the house down...thankfully the tree is only on when we are home and never when we go to sleep.

And our dining room table with our empty china cabinet in the background...I need a set of china badly but I love how the table turned out.  I just need plate chargers I think.



Finally, my lone decoration in the kitchen to keep me company when cooking...a happy snowman.

Thank you!!!  I realized I never AW'd our kitchen gut remodel and should probably do that.  The backsplash was too expensive in hindsight and a PIA to install (for my BIL...God bless him) but I adore it.

Oh no!!!   I honestly haven't done any of my Christmas shopping yet.  Between trips to India and Arizona, Raj's vet appointments/surgery, baby/morning sickness, work and, I don't know, general life I only managed to shop for my SS. I'm such a procrastinator this year...I usually have this in the bag already.  I have a feeling Amazon is about to become my best friend.  Or gift cards.  I hate giving people gift cards but I think my family will give me an "out" this year for lack of creativity.

My nativity set was given to me, a few pieces at a time, by my dad's aunt (really more of my grandma). We had to set up the card table to hold it all, but it's not too crunched together this year.


H and I bought an ornament to commemorate our first Christmas as a married couple. That's a key hanging off the bottom, but the camera caught all the sparkles from the crystals in it, so it lost some definition.
