I was off work yesterday.  I got a good deal of Christmas shopping done too.  

DH is off work today.  My productivity is going to take a nose dive because I just want to hang out with him.  

Secret Satan is thisclose to being ready to go out.    

1.5 more days until I'm on vacation.  Woo!!

I am here!  I had a couple of "big" work projects and oodles of holiday baking.

It's Max's birthday!  We're going to Costco for snack.  He keeps saying he wants turkey, apples, and brown rice for his birthday dinner.  We're getting pizza and cake at Costco.  If he cries over pizza I might lose it.


Also, last night was psr (religion school) Christmas parties.  I never thought kids would bring stuff, but I've got 2 mini bundt cakes, a loaf of apple bread from the good bakery, chocolate covered oreos, a key chain, and a starbucks gift card.

Hiya! Today is the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest at work. I have on a red sweater from the 80's with a glittery poinsettia on it, shoulder pads and all. ITS SO ITCHY!!! Then one of my coworkers added a HUGE red bow to it. I can't wait to take this thing off.

Christmas parties went well yesterday. I have so much stuff to get done (and not enough time) before heading out to San Diego tomorrow

Happy Thursday!  I'm being productive today, a continuation from yesterday, and it feels amazing.

I'm also *thisclose* to having SS stuff done, but it still probably won't go out until Monday.

DH is on light duty at work because he has a strained tendon in his hand and he is going crazy not being able to do anything.

I forgot to pull the chicken from the freezer to the fridge last night.  Hopefully it defrosts in time to make supper tonight.

I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday, though I'm overbooked again.  Tonight we're going to a docent led exhibit at our local art museum.  I'm super excited about the artist; the exhibit was considered "too controversial" by Crystal Bridges and rejected, so for my little city to have it is amazeballs.

Friday I'm going to a remembrance of life for a dear friend's aunt.  Sunday we have our holiday party with the atheists.  It should be fun and all the kids are coming too.  Our outreach to families is paying off well.

I'll be working on a ton of paperwork this weekend as well.  Balls.

It's almost potluck time at work.  I was lending a hand and got to preview the offerings.  Looks pretty good. 

DONE with Christmas shopping!  Except for maybe a couple of stocking stuffers.  Tons of wrapping to do, though.

@mrs.conn23: SERIAL!  I haven't quite finished today's episode, but I'm probably about 75% done.  Thoughts?  Also, how delighted am I to hear Mail Chimp again?  Mail...kimp?

I thought the same thing when I listened to last week's episode. Mail Kimp gives me life!

DH is "sick" but we are supposed to go to a party for the directors/managers tonight. I really want to go because I have a cute dress to wear, and because I never get out of the house. But he said this morning we're going.

Today is my Friday, although I've already committed to working on a few things tomorrow. In the AM tomorrow, I have to go to DS's school to help with a pre-winter break cookie thing which should be fun. Saturday and Sunday are relaxing days. We were supposed to go to a birthday party for a girl in DS's class but I ended up cancelling because we've all been sick off and on the past few weeks and I think we need some recovery time. I'm also off on Monday and we'll be going to see Star Wars in the AM.

Work has been a bit hectic with end of the year stuff and some huge announcements that they company made last week. A lot of things will be up in the air in 2016, although I'm not overly concerned at the moment. 

I have work tomorrow and an appointment for my IUD check/US. I had an appointment with my neuro today to get back the results of my battery of tests - outcome: I will need PT for my neck because I have oseto-arthritis on C4-6 and the discs are compressing my spinal cord a bit. I may want to consider allergy drops. Brain scan looks fine (yay!). Doctor also suggested trying a new medicine for headache prevention, so we'll see how that works out. 

Tomorrow is my last day of work in 2015, so looking forward to a solid 2.5 weeks off.
