Going rate for Makeup

Hey girls. Newly engaged and wondering if any of you New York Knotties can give me a ballpark on how much it cost you and your bridesmaids to get your makeup done? I am having my makeup done by a relative who is a professional but she refuses to take money from me and i dont feel right about that. So I want to make sure I give her something that is appropriate (not too much or not enough) Thanks!!

    Hey, congrats!!I'm paying $125 for my make-up and the bridesmaids are $75. That includes lashes and airbrushing if they want it.Have fun planning!

    I'm paying $100 for hair and $50 for make-up, BM are paying $75 for hair and $50 for make-up.

    $125 for hair, and $150 for make-up. could have found cheaper, but this girl won't make any other appts that day, so we won't be rushed, and i've used her before, so i didn't need to pay for a trial.

    Congratulations on your engagement! Before I decided to have my relative do the makeup for me I was considering Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa in Woodbury, Spa Adriana in Huntington, and Razing Hair in Bayport. They are all excellent, it just so happened that my relative was more than happy to offer her services. I wasn't even going to ask her, thinking she would just want to enjoy the party as opposed to working that day. Since she didn't mind it ended up working out perfectly, but i cannot allow her to do it for nothing. I have 8 girls she has to work on!
