uplighting appropriate for my afternoon wedding?

I'm getting married on a Friday afternoon next July at Chateau Briand. The room has no windows and I can adjust the lighting to make it "look" more evening-like. Would it be inappropriate to have uplighting? Or is that better for evening weddings?Thanks!

why not? make it feel like evening. i think that nothing is inappropriate, if you're not offending someone.

ITA. Lighting can really transform a room. I looooove amber uplighting, for instance, it's so warm.

my friend used lighting through EJtheDJ and I know that they have done lighting for afternoon events too. Lighting can totally transform the look of your reception so I would highly recommend it
