This groom needs a lot more than just "support"!

I saw this on the local news station's website this morning.  Clicky.

Basically, the story is about a "groom" whose marriage was falling apart.  He apparently had "no support" from his GM over the demise of his marriage.  So he took it out on the GM's personal property.  He burned two trucks and set a garage door on fire (while the family was sleeping inside the home!).  Groom left a jokers card at each of the two truck fires.  But was found out when the police made the connection between the three GM.  He is now behind bars giving jail house interviews that he wasn't supported by the GM!

This is taking the need for "support" way too far!  I bet he acted like a jack ass during the wedding planning, so his friends backed away after the wedding.  Just like we tell all the SS that think the world revolves around them and their wedding.  Treating people like crap, will only get you less friends!

  • Wait, what?

It's always everyone else's fault huh?

(OT - I miss Action News.  To this day it's the news I compare all other local news programs.)

What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
  • I like how he is still referring to these people as his GM.  How about just friends?  And yeah, it is their fault that his marriage self-destructed.  It couldn't possibly be because he is the type of person to set other people's cars on fire because they didn't give him enough support.
Yep.  It's like they were "godparents" who are there to support him for life or something.
