Seriously... photographers?

so i posted this on another forum but wanted to do it here as well.

yesterday my friend and i sent messages to photographers we found on wedding wire (i love wedding wire because I like to read reviews) anyway, why photographers don't share their prices? why would i want to go meet with them?.. why if i can't afford them? 
we called a few and messaged a few more   
I was only able to make two appointments knowing I can afford them.

Can you ladies recommend photographers who were willing to share their packages before meeting with them please.  Am I doing something wrong?
Did you have the same problem?
My budget is $4000. I must have the images and an album.

I never ran into that problem.  Most were eager to email or say it over the phone. I think I did most of my requesting in email because I like paper trails.  I did have this issue with a venue though, they wouldn't give me prices unless I went and saw them.  Sorry, I'm from OOT.  NEXT.

@Knottie60905990 no i haven't booked anyone yet. I am meeting with a few photographers next week... i am not looking anymore unless those photographers don't work, i will start looking again  
i am looking for flowers ideas/vendors now.

I didn't have this problem. I was able to get pricing before meeting anyone.  I LOVED my photographer...Alicia King Photography.  I got all the images, but I didn't get an album. I am not sure if she offers them or not, I didn't want one so I didn't ask.

Flowers - Loved Lucille's in Fishkill. She was easy to work with, I was clueless with flower's and showed her pics of what I liked and she created exactly what I imagined.

If someone wouldn't give me at least a range, I crossed them off my list. No one has time to deal with that, so good for you!
