I am mad that it took until like 45 minutes into the episode to see Caleb. 

I do not like all the touchy feely nonsense happening between Caleb and Spencer. 

I want Aria's hair cut and eyebrows. 

Poor Ezra. He is majorly fucked up by whatever happened to his friend. 

Hanna's ring had me drooling. 

I feel like Toby became a better child police officer over the 5 year break.

I really like all of the characters, except for Ali.  I feel like she lost a lot of herself.  That being said, this 5 years later thing feels like a brand new show and we're starting from scratch.

I think Mona works for ISIS or something like that since Spencer hinted to her working for shady politics.

I don't like that none of the couples are together anymore, yet they are still interacting and just awkward.

I want to know what is going on with Ezra.  I think this dark, violent person is them trying to make you think he's the new A.  And I don't want to think that.

Why the hell were they hanging out at Radley!?!? And Hanna was staying there!?!?1 WTF!?!?

Oh and whatever they did to Sarah in Radley, sounds weird.  I don't think Sarah is the new A though.  I don't have an idea who it is yet.

I am NOT okay with whatever shadiness is going on between Caleb and Spencer. They need to cut that shit out RIGHT NOW, especially because there are clearly still some feelings between Haleb.

I need to know what's going on with Ezra, because the poor guy is fucked. 

I don't like Ali. 

I actually don't hate the new Radley. I think it's kind of cool. 

I feel like whoever Toby is building the house for (because I agree with Spencer in that he's definitely building it FOR someone) is going to be someone close to the original storyline and it's going to be weird.

I don't like Ali or the actress that plays her. I think she's just bad. 

I hate that Ali does the "shhhh" in the new opening. 

Maybe the house is for.... Jason? Paige? Do we know if Jenna is ever coming back? Her house got blown up all those years ago. Maybe she left and now she's coming back and her and Toby and friends again.

ETA: Maybe the house is for himself?

Totally agree with @swazzle on the new intro. I want Aria's crooked "shhh" back.

Yeah the whole Jenna group thing was never answered, so maybe she'll be back.

New Radley is nice, but because of the background and their history, I don't get why any of them would ever hang out, drink, or sleep there.

I used to be a fan and I didn't watch it a couple weeks in a row and got completely confused and lost because I apparently missed EVERYTHING! So I quit watching it.

@southernpeach89 It's all on Netflix.  You should just binge and catch up! All though the episode from this week was like a pilot for a new show, so you may not be that lost.

I think it was a really stupid plot idea to be like "Uh oh! First episode and they are already lying for Ali again!" It was a dumb lie and I still don't feel like they would have given in to her plea. Not that easily.

I never really gave a shit about Sarah as a character before, so her being there wasn't intense at all. And Mona still seems like she has some kind of ulterior motive for everything she does, including "being honest" to the judge.

Thank you!!! I do not understand the intensity around Sarah.  She was a pointless character that they wasted a huge reveal on, so who cares that they did something to her!?

Couldn't they at least make Ali someone you love to hate? I kind of just wish she wasn't a character in the show right now. The ending of that second episode was BS.

@swazzle & @goldenpenguin - What do you think is wrong with Emily? I'm thinking physical disease, either the Big C or one of the infectious diseases she mentioned working with. But @speakeasy14 made a good point when I was texting her that it could be mental, since her dad's death messed her up so bad.

Ali is SO fucking weird. I can't handle her AT ALL anymore.

I am NOT OKAY with Caleb/Spencer. Not even a little bit okay with it. 

I feel like they're making it obvious that they want us to suspect Ezra in the Charlotte murder, and I'm not falling for it.

I feel like Em's issue has to be more than mental, because I don't know why she would be getting all kinds of blood work and being told that the "treatment" is better done in one place. Regardless, there is something serious going on.

According to interviews the new A, big bad, whatever we're calling them, is someone we know very well but also someone we've never met. What?!?

@speakeasy14 - That makes absolutely no sense!

@GoldenPenguin - For the ENTIRE show I was hoping it was Ezra, because that would have been such an awesome Oh Shit! kind of reveal. So then I was hoping it was going to be him this time, but he's too much of a suspect too early, so based on the show's previous themes I also agree it's not him.

Another note..... If they're all 5 years older, why are they still acting like teenagers? Spence is still freaking out over nothing. Aria is still going behind peoples backs..... I just feel like they could have matured at least a little! You can still have drama without high school.

I am really really liking this season so far. I was kind of hoping Hanna wouldn't delete the footage, but of course she did. I'm not surprised at all that they're all going back to their old ways, honestly. It's been five years, but they also were the Liars for even longer than that before this.

Hello NEY Crew, 

I'm OneFoot, typically active on CC board & lurk most others.  Wanted to hop into this discussion since I just started PLL.  One of my family members got a part in it!  I've just finished Season 1 and am going to try to get through the next several seasons on Netflix so I can actually discuss the show.  

We had a pajama party on Jan 12th for the premiere in accordance with the tween-theme of the show.  Jumping from Season 1 to 6 made it clear I have a lot to catch up on...    

I'm still learning the fan trends and recently figured out what "Emison" was.  I realize that's probably "old news" but I hope to be caught up enough to be able to join this discussion if it's a regular thing  Not sure if many of you use Instagram but some of the PLL Ig fan accounts are pretty hilarious.

@onefootinthebayou No judgement if you binge through seasons 2-5 in a week or two.  The first three seasons are probably still my favorite.  Are you going to continue to watch season 6, or wait till you're caught up?  I follow all of them on instagram, sometimes they give clues for episodes.  Pajama party is brilliant, and am now going to bring my feeties to my sister's tomorrow haha

@onefootinthebayou - I started watching when everyone else was in season 6 as well. I'm sure you'll get caught up soon, because it's an addicting show, and I hope you'll join our discussions! But I feel really bad that whoever you watched with didn't try and dissuade you from seeing the new episodes, because they completely ruin what you're building up to in the first 5 and a half seasons!

Haha!  Yes, the pajama party was a huge success.  One of my cousins actually took the subway over IN her pajamas.  Everyone was very keen to take the PJ theme seriously (probably why my friends & I get along so well).  I had red & black streamers & lots of red "A"s on everything.  And terrible for you snacks.  

I think now that the big debut of my family member has occurred, I'm going to just DVR the rest of the season while I catch up on the previous ones.  I showed the recap of the first 3 seasons (I think it's Episode 1 of season 4) for my party since no one had seen the show.  I have a trip to DC this week so I should be able to bang through at least half of season 2.  Priorities!
