HUMP DAY!

Morning ladies. Not much going on here today. Crossfit is closed this morning, so I brought my stuff to go this afternoon. I'm SO ready to get back into it after a four-day break.

Driving into work this morning, I thought 'I wonder what NEY is wearing today?' so... what's your OOTD?

I'm wearing an animal print cardigan with skinny jeans and my new Nordstrom boots. I probably shouldn't have worn heels with how slushy it is out, but oh well, I made it in without falling! I have a funny look on my face because just as I was taking the picture, one of my co-workers walked by. AWKWARD

I tried to get my OOTD in the bathroom at work, but had to use a timer and it just didn't turn out well.  Plus, I noticed a ruffle on my shirt won't laydown.  OH WELL.  Nothing fancy, black shirt, stretchy skirt, warm cardi, belly.

Sorry if this picture is huge...  I tried to resize it but it keeps coming back as gigantic. 

Last night H and I went out to eat and I ate a gyro.  It was so good.  I paid for it all night (and I mean ALL NIGHT) but it was so yummy, I don't exactly regret it.

I'm ready for the weekend.  Come on Friday!

Morning! 

Last night I made dinner, ate dinner, and immediately got into bed and watched a couple episodes of DA before going to sleep before 10. I really needed those 7 hours! 

If work's quiet, I'm really torn right now between continuing my book which just got really good and watching more of DA -- yes, I'm obsessed. Tonight I have to go food shopping for the upcoming weekend and I have an eyebrow appointment.

I'm wearing a raglan sweater I got from GroopDealz recently for 10 bucks, my red pants from SF and my usual black Sam Edelman Penny boots.

Good Morning NEY. I am super cranky today and in a terrible mood. I will be until tonight when I go to a meeting to find out if there will be a cheer program next year.

The football part of the program is trying to move from Pop Warner into a different league and if they do, half of my team from last year will not be able to participate as the age cut-off is different. If I lose that half, I am sure many of the others won't come back. I will also step down as coach, as will another coach so there won't be any coaches or kids and therefore no more program. Football doesn't seem to care, and will only listen to the football parents, so I am hoping and praying they side with us tonight. I am a wreck thinking about it!

Today I am wearing gray pants, and my new mint green sweater from StitchFix with elbow pads! It's so cute and comfy. I don't have a pic of it now but I took one last night when trying on the SF.

@swazzle - I'm sure it's a tough choice, but I vote DA. It's just SO GOOD. Did you drive in today? If not, you can always read your book on your way home. Also, thank you for introducing me to reading on my phone. I thought I'd hate reading on that small of a screen but I love being able to pick my book back up anytime I want!

My first class went well last night! The puppies were a really good match, which was important because the last 15 minutes is devoted to the puppies playing together so I can teach the owners what appropriate play looks like and how to identify when a dog doesn't want to play anymore. It was a baby pitty and a poodle/wheaten terrier cross. That little poodle mix was NUTS and the pitty loved it

So yesterday my roommate got a STD from her son and his FI. It lists two days on it. One for the ceremony, one for the reception. Is this a no no? Somehow I think it is.

Today I've got Coraline with me at work again and it was a successful trip here because she didn't get carsick!!! She has every time we have been in the car so today in gave her like 1/6th of a Dramamine pill and she was perfect!

Not sharing my OOTD because I'm wearing a shirt I've had since high school and jeans that are a tad too big lol so glamorous.

@caseface5 I hate when programs change and the kids are negatively affected I'll cross my finger that everything goes in your favor. And I love the elbow pads on that sweater! Looks very cozy.

Last night I was so tired that I took a nap right after dinner and then had trouble going to bed at 10 like I normally do. This morning I feel like one of my ears is blocked or something...still feeling tired. Hoping it passes and that I'm not getting sick. I've already used a couple sick days and I don't want to use any more. 

Tonight I'm going to make breakfast for dinner (brinner baby), so hopefully that will make things easier. I missed married at first sight last night so I will probably watch it tonight. I just can't not watch that show!

@cu97tiger - I didn't have to drive today so that's a very good point you make. Maybe I will watch DA for a bit and finish season 2. I cried during an episode last night and I don't want to say more than that because I hate spoilers and wouldn't want to ruin anything for someone that hasn't watched yet. And I don't see white as a font color anymore  

ETA: I'm so glad I got you to read on your phone! I always thought I'd feel the same way but it's so much easier than carrying a book or ereader since I always have my phone on me and it takes less space in my bag.

@untouchablets - I totally read that as your roomate got a sexually transmitted disease from her son and his FI and I was like 'whoa kinky!!'. I definitely think having separate days for the ceremony and reception just makes it a PITA for your guests, which is the opposite of what they should be trying to do.

@500 days - We watched MAFS last night for the first time (at least until our cable started giving us problems). It is an interesting show... though who the hell would agree to do that?!

I'm rocking my new maternity wear from my co-worker today.  Black pants she gave me and a grey sweater.  I accessorized with a pink scarf (not pictured) and my colorful flats.  Sorry for the cheeseball picture...a co-worker almost caught me mid-selfie ala @cu97tiger

I've got a busy day at work but we FINALLY got a quote from a plumber.  He is double what our original plumber was going to charge (which wasn't cheap to begin with) but I don't care at this point.  I think we are hiring today so hopefully he can get started next week.  I WANT a bath, people.  Not a shower, a bath with bubbles and sparkling water and candles and the works. 

ETA - Fixed my spelling error...AGAIN.

When I was leaving work last night, every single person in the lobby of my building was wearing a black coat and dark pants. Every. Single. Person. Including me: I had my black coat, black pants, black booties.  It made me think of your visit to the city, @cu97tiger

Here's what I'm wearing today.  Lavender blazer, navy blouse, grey dress pants, and my favorite nude flats.  And I attempted to curl my hair today, but the curls mostly fell out before I left the house, so now it is just wavy and fluffy.

I went straight to my sister's after work yesterday.  We had spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and then played a game of Phase 10 until PLL came on. As PLL started my stepdad showed up so we played a game of monopoly cards after the show ended.  I got home around 10:30,  and saw that my LL Bean boots arrived.  Thank you @goldenpenguin they are 100000x better than any snow boots I've ever had.  

I was supposed to go for a ski lesson tonight, but the part I've been waiting for the last month for my car came last night, so I have to drop my car off at the shop.  Keeping my fingers crossed that my car is finally repaired.  The past 7ish months have been a guessing game of what is wrong.  So after I drop my car off I'll just do some yoga.  Dinner tonight will be bbq chicken and mac n cheese.

Bookclub last night was fun! I shared their pasta dish with my mom and we talked about the book, about WWII, and catch up chat. One of the ladies is moving into Atlanta. Her H retired last summer and they've just purchased a vacant lot near a really cool up and coming area called Inman Park (where @audrewuh stayed on her visit to Atl). They're building a super long narrow row style type of house and they'll live at that house and at their beach house part time. I swear, she is living my dream life and I want to be her someday!

@speakeasy14 Pop Warner allows kids up to 15, however it goes by their age on July 31st of the current year. So by those standards, the girls will be considered 14 this July 31st, and 15 on July 1st, 2017 giving them two more years. This new program only allows kids up to 8th grade, and they are all going into 9th in the fall so they are out.

@jenna8984 - My (notice I said "my" on purpose...lol) new tub is 6 feet long.  6 GLORIOUS feet and 3 glorious feet wide.  I plan on swimming for at least an hour when we install it.  And when baby gets here, I plan on taking all of my "me" time in there with a glass of wine (or two).

Good morning! I keep having really weird home invasion dreams, but every time the invader is actually really nice. I had two separate ones last night, in one the bad guy stole a gallon of milk and I caught him, so I shooed him away and let him have the milk. In another the bad guy turned out to be working for a home security company and was just trying to show how much I need the product. My dreams are weird.

In other news, I installed a Nest thermostat last night, and being able to adjust the temperature from my phone is AWESOME. I set it cool for the night and once I woke up this morning I turned it to my regular temperature FROM MY PHONE and laid there doing my standard "hit snooze a thousand times while also browsing facebook." It'll be helpful to be able to check the temp when I am out of town too. 

My outfit today is a pink/red/purple striped sweater, and my standard black pants and black flats. My winter work wardrobe is boring.

H just gave me another baby girl name idea...Champa (Chu uh m pah).  



It apparently is a kind of tree in India?  I told him it sounded like a character from Star Wars.  I think he was serious though.  This is going to be some sort of test of our marriage, this naming of our child.
