I asked a pretty similar question before my wedding and I really liked the advice I got so I'll give it back. This wedding is about you and your fiance together (more so than any other gift giving event really) so get your parents gifts together. I know how you feel, you get caught up in the wedding industry and start finding gifts for everyone but a gift from both of you will mean a lot more. Talk to your FI and see what kind of things your FIL likes, it doesn't need to be a gimmicky typically "father of the groom" gift. We tell people to shop like it's their birthdays for Bridesmaids and Groomsmen so this shouldn't be any different.Knottie1451503893 said:I would like to get a gift for my fiance's father. Unfortunately, he didn't come into my fiance's life until he was older. They have a great relationship now, but everything I am looking at is "you raised such a good son" etc. which really isn't the case. Any thoughts as to a meaningful gift?
