Help needed from brides

Hello brides!

I am new to this particular board but I was hoping some of you can help me. I am on a budget and looking for decorators and videographers for my wedding. I need mostly lighting and some very very basic centerpieces. If you know of anyone you used and loved, please share. Thanks so much

I don't know where you're looking specifically, if you're on the East End, I used Ivy League Flowers in Southold and they worked with my budget, helping me kick things out to make it fit.

If you're hiring a band or DJ, they should be able to work a package deal with the lighting for you, that's what ours did.

Also, if you visit the DIY board, those girls have AMAZING tips on doing your own centerpieces for good prices, and other decor for the wedding as well.

I am going to ditto Ana on the fact that if you are budget conscious, most things you can do yourself. If you go to a catering hall, most include the linens and don't need much decoration aside from centerpieces that can be as simple or as elaborate as you want.

I don't have much experience with video, but the videographer I am using was used by my cousin, which is how I decided to use him. www.tandtstudios.com. Hal has also done pictures for us and been very professional. I do know a couple people who have used Patken photography with great results as well though.

have you checked out Roots Flowers/Florist in Port Jefferson...really amazing group of people working their and they have defined their artistry.
