Wedding Website Question

 Hi All-

I'm not sure this is actually an etiquette question, but it could be. I was just wondering if anyone included an email address on their wedding website, in case there were any questions from guests? Some guests (ie older family members) only have our physical address or my/FI's mom's cell phone number, so I wanted give them an alternative way to get in touch. I'm hesitant to include an email because come RSVP time, I don't want folks emailing instead of sending in their response cards.

What have others done?

Thanks! :)

Re: Wedding Website Question

  • We didn't include our email address because our website had a section for comments/questions. If you don't want to include yours, don't. Honestly, most people may not even look at your website. If anyone needs to reach you for any reason, they will figure out a way.

We didn't include one either and it never mattered. Friends got in touch with us, family presumably got in touch with our parents.

Try to pre-empt questions on the site so even your parents could answer them. If you use the registry button on the website, your parents would be able to say, "Yes Aunt Jane, they're registered at Target and Williams Sonoma."  If you're getting married at a venue where there is both valet parking and public transit, mention that on the site. Then your parents can say, "Yes Aunt Jane, there is valet parking." KWIM?
