Searching for Halls for rent and a good caterer

I am planning on doing a DIY wedding in October of 2013. SO I am currently looking for a nice hall or space to rent as well as a good caterer who offers alcohol services.  Any information/help would be great:)

    I'm doing a similar search pzimangel!  Looking to keep costs down because we would rather spend the money on a house.  A friend of mine offered to do the catering and I need to find a place that he could come in to without much hassle.  We are looking for some place toward the end of 2013.  Date is not important.
