Hey all...

Approx how much are you spending on photos/video?  I know the cost will vary based on how pictures in the albumn and some other things..but I'm just looking for a general idea...We have went to a few and i'm trying to get an idea if we are paying too much or if we are getting a deal..or if we should haggle?

I'm doing just a cd of images, 5 hours of coverage and no video for 800.

Who is everyone using?

ours was 5k and we are using Duet in Huntington GL

We visited with a few photographers and they all seemed to have similar packages and were in the 3-4K range.

We paid 4K which included 2 photographers, an album, dvd of all the pictures and beautiful thank you cards.

Laura Ryan Photography, 7 hours of coverage (2 years ago) was about 1500 with a second shooter, CD of all images.  She was great, easy going and really you hardly knew she was there.  If you want natural looking pictures she is the way to go.
