Hamptons Tent Wedding??

I'm having a backyard tent wedding in the hamptons next Sept. - curious if anyone else is & would love to hear how your planning is going?

I am having a tented wedding in Southampton and I just found everything to be so difficult.  I was hearing things about permits and parking and security so I hired a wedding planner.  A friend of mine recommended Caitlin Russotti, she had used her for her wedding in Watermill.  So far working with Caitlin has made everything feel like a breeze.

I'm having my tented wedding on the North Fork and it is a lot of work.  We're doing it at Brecknock Hall.  We met with NY Tent on Thursday and they seem great.  We have an appointment with American Tent on Sunday.  Are either of you using fans or ac in your tent?

Have you looked at Sperry Tents?  I love those

I went to one at hither hills in montauk. The photos are online with the photographer, i'll see if if can find out where so you can see.

We're doing a sperry tent.  It took me a while to decide though because I want the wedding to be a bit formal & was afraid I couldn't pull it off in a sperry.  Everyone I spoke with told me sperry is the way to go.

Are any of you girls using a professional lighting company? Otherwise what kind of lighting are you doing? 

Also, is anyone else doing fabric along the perimeter? I love love the way it looks & am nervous that it's going to cost a fortune.
