Parent Gift Opinions

Hi all. We purchased wooden picture frames for the parents that are engraved with our names and wedding date and I wanted to see if anyone had any nice wording ideas for a placeholder in the frame to include some sort of thank you and to save this for a photo from our wedding day. I'm maxed out for ideas right now. Thanks!!!

For my parents' wedding, someone made them a collage with a copy of their invitation, along with wedding photos. I don't know how big the frame is, but I might go with something along those lines.

Just keep it simple. "Dear parent, Thank you for raising me to be the person I am today, and thank you for your ongoing love and support.

    ETA: posted too soon.

We will give you a photo for the frame after the wedding! Love, kac."
  • We put the save the date in there until we got our wedding photos back.
  • I would give them a picture of our dog but they probably wouldn't replace it after we gave them our wedding photo, lol.
  • you could just write whatever you would plan to write in a card, but make it somewhat of a keepsake in case your parents are sentimental and keep things like cards.

Something simple if it's going to be on a frame. "Thank you for your love and support/ Thank you for raising me to be the person I am today/ I love you".

    Same. Lol
