@swazzle - I have been having way too many cranky mornings recently.  I have a really hard time because unless I have class, there is no set time I need to be in the office, and as long as I'm getting my stuff done, nobody really cares if I'm there or not.  So, for example, I had planned to run this morning at 7:00 and be at the office by 9:00...it's 9:45 and I'm still at home.

@LizzyTish88 - I am so jealous of your dance class!  I was taking ballet again for a little while, but haven't gotten into it since I moved, and I miss it so much!

Morning everybody!

I had a great long weekend with my sisters and nephew/niece.  I drove home on Monday (boooo) and yesterday was packed with classes and meetings with students, so I'm just now getting caught up and back on TK.

We had so much fun this weekend.  On Friday night when I got there everybody was having a picnic, and then we came home and put the babies to bed and drank wine.  On Saturday my sister and her husband and the kids went to a wedding in the afternoon, so my other sister and I did some housecleaning for them while they were gone.  That evening we went to our favorite brewery for burgers:
And took silly pictures of my niece.

I spent most of Sunday afternoon like this:Rosemary had the sniffles and so she slept a lot because she was trying to get well.  She did most of her sleeping on her aunts and I loved getting ALL THE BABY CUDDLES.

My nephew is also adorable, although completely in the "terrible twos" stage of life.  He's constantly asking "Why?  Why?  Why?"  And he's picked up some choice language (although I'm not sure where from).  My favorite nephew-isms from this weekend:

"Nephew, do you know what gravity is?"
"Yes...JESUS!"

"Oh shit.  I need to go on the slides."


It's impossible to get a decent picture of him because he is always moving!  He decided to be a ghost with the tablecloth from our picnic.

Anyway, it was amazing, but now I'm back and have to make it through the last few weeks of the semester.  I am tired and ready to throw in the towel, and my students mostly feel the same way!

@minskat30 Awww poor Raj and POOR YOU! Vibes for hopefully scheduling an early surgery and a fast recovery, for your sake as well as his!

@CocoBellaF oh no fingers crossed! And your boss is a jerk, considering how many emergencies you've had, he should be concerned rather than annoyed.

@pambeesly524 - Don't let that bad run get you down. You have to have a bad run once in awhile to remind you how good the good runs are. And a bad 5 mile run is better than no run at all!

@swazzle - I went to buy 'The girl you lost' and bought it with H's amazon account. Ugh. I guess I'll read it on the laptop, then.

@minskat30 - Giant hugs... try not to think too far ahead. I hope the vet has good news for you, but you know that your H will take care of everything if he does need surgery sooner.

I'm not whiny today. I had a great workout this morning at Crossfit and am working from home today while my house gets cleaned. Best $85 I spend a month The boys are sweetly laying on the floor. I have a chiropractor appointment at 4p, which I'm looking forward to. Last night I had a mentoring meeting. I think my mentee will be a little bit of a challenge, but she seems nice, so I'm excited about it. Tonight we're grilling hot dogs. This weather makes me a happy camper. 

Oh, and last night I got this dress. I'm going to wear it to my friend's wedding in June. I'm really excited about it!

@beachyone15 I guess it just eliminates moves that are done lying on your back. But I've never done normal yoga so I wouldn't really know what is missing or modified lol

Whiny wednesday is right! Something woke me up 15mins before my alarm, and it sounded like a phone. I thought it was our phone and couldn't understand why the bedroom wasn't ringing {2 cordless phones - one in bedroom and one in living room}
So I get up and look around, sound stops. Kitters want food obv, but I ignore them and go back to lie down for a few mins until the alarm goes off. Again sound. WHAT THE HELL!
I'm guessing it's another apartment phone. I hate thin walls. Whatever. Get up feed kitcats, DID NOT MAKE MY LUNCH WHAT THE HELL and Matt gets up to go shower then the fire alarm goes off in our apt. WHAT IS HAPPENING TODAY!?
He asks me what I'm doing that would cause it. Uhm thanks for blaming me, but you just got out of the shower and that's more likely.
Opened windows and brought fan into hall to blow air. I think the batteries are dying tbh

I'm wearing a skirt and heels to work for the first time this year! Mainly because I'm going to the memorial right after work.

It was funny, I'm walking to the bus stop and some dude gawks at me. Whatever, I roll my eyes.
Matt drives by and honks. I text him why he honked, I knew he was coming so I was prepped to wave.
His exact words: "You're suppose to honk at pretty girls."
STOP THAT *blushes* lmao

Anyways, not much tonight because we're at the memorial from 5-7

I'm causing my students to whine more today than I'm whining - gave a quiz in one of my classes and I'm giving a test in the other, so I'm spreading joy and sunshine everywhere I go.

Tonight is DB's senior recital, so that's going to be my whole evening. I am close-ish to being caught up on the grading, or rather, I'm the typical level of behind. Staying late last night helped a lot.

I have a whine now... kids come to our office to get working papers, and all the boys this week have STUNK! I can't get the smell of teenage boy out of my area! I sprayed Febreeze, and now it smells like "Kiwiberry Breeze" and "Teenage Ass" combined.

@PamBeesly524 – Man, I was way slow this morning for the first half of my run, so I tried to make up for it by adding in some occasional sprints in the second half. Yea, I was dying and started my “cool down” much earlier, haha. It’s so hard to keep a regular breathing pattern when you’re gasping for air! I'm so impressed you still did 5 miles!

Whiny Wednesday?!? Heck no!! Happy 4/20 Wednesday everybody! You girls have national wine day. This is my day! Haha.

I don't really have much, if anything to whine about. I'm gonna try and do a workout challenge with @speakeasy14 starting next week, and so I'm trying to figure out how to fit it into my schedule. I guess I'll either be 20-30 minutes later to work in the mornings (like today) or I'll have to get up even earlier.

They added season 10 of Trailer Park Boys to Netflix, so we watched a bunch of that last night after I made chicken and couscous for dinner. Does anyone else watch that show? I feel like I've never had anyone to talk to about it.
