Re: Nevermind

  • Perfectionism, it looks fine to me. My ring was custom made (not for me, it is an heirloom ring) and it is ever so slightly different on each side. No one else would notice as they would never look at it for more than a second or two, but I can see it. I have no idea if that is because it is custom made or because it is faulty or something, but really it doesn't matter because over all I love it. Do you love your ring? If your answer is yes then you're golden. Stop looking so closely.

  • I see what you're talking about, but only because you pointed it out. As long as the prongs are tight, I wouldn't worry about it. Nobody should be so close to your ring as to be able to notice something so minute.

One of my prongs is shorter than the other causing my diamond to sit slightly tilted. No one notices unless I take my ring off and show them. The only person I've done that with is my fiance.
  • I think I see what you are talking about. I really wouldn't worry about it.

I can't see what you're talking about...but if it's a problem with the prongs themselves, you may want to take it back to Jared to see if they are able to fix it by swapping the head out. My setting is a custom one from there too, and the head/prongs were always kept separate from the rest of the design; it was a separate piece that wasn't added in until they actually cast the ring. Could be a simple fix!
