Best part of your weekend?

Yesterday we went to our wedding venue and took pics in the same pose/location as our few wedding pics we have. I wanted the same shot but with the baby belly, and I'm going to go back in a year or 2 with son and make it a 3 part series! They came out really good, my best friend took them and then we treated her to brunch buffet there.

Worst part of your weekend?

Had wicked tummy pain Sunday morning. Nothing alarming, just him bulging out in an odd position that did not feel good. And not sleeping well.

Best thing you ate this weekend?

Everything at brunch! Bacon, sausage, this thing that was like French toast rolled up with blueberry inside, pecan rolls, corn fritters, roast beef. H kept saying "Why have we never come to this before, and can we make it a monthly thing?!"

What are you wearing?

 tan & white striped shirt, jeans, sneakers... I backed out of the garage and was in the driveway ready to go when I said to myself "eh it's a bit of a drive- I should pee first". Go back inside and as I sat down noticed I was wearing slippers! hahahah. So close!

Yea kinda, training my temp since we're leading up to month end.

Laughing, eating, drinking with my bestest frandz and going to @Hummingbird125 's baby shower! 

Worst part of your weekend?

I could use a lot more sleep and traffic to/from Long Island was a bastard on Saturday.

Best thing you ate this weekend?

All the food at the shower was great and lunch yesterday at my favorite Mexican restaurant (we shared pastelitos and I got blackened catfish tacos and it comes with a grilled avocado with mango salsa).

What are you wearing?

A boring dress and Birks.

Busy week ahead or no?

Not really. H is away until Wednesday, we'll go for sushi on Thursday, I have an early close on Friday, a housewarming party on Saturday, and I'm hoping to catch up on sleep, relax, and get some sun over the long weekend.

We're house sitting my bf's parents' house, so we decided to bring our bathing suits and just relax.  We spent the afternoon swimming and grilling.  

Worst part of your weekend?

Still car-less. I don't want to talk about it.

Best thing you ate this weekend?

Scallops wrapped with bacon -- we were with friends on Saturday and around 9 the guys decided they needed steak and scallops wrapped with bacon.

What are you wearing?

Burgundy pants, burgundy tank, beige-ish asymmetrical blazer

Busy week ahead or no?

Yes, I have my quarterly off site meeting on Wednesday.  So I'll be running around all week.  About to go negotiate with security to borrow a company car tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday morning. 

We also still need to decide on at least one car.  Plus a bunch of other little things going on all week.  Everything needs to be done by Friday because I'm supposed to go to my best friend's because Saturday we're having a beach day.

Having a pool day with Callie, @labro , her H, and my Mom yesterday afternoon. Callie had a blast and overall a great day.

Worst part of your weekend?

The neighborhood block party on Saturday was a total bust. No one came and I didn't even stay for food. I showed up and there were like four people there and it was blazing hot. I just decided to go home with have a relaxing day with Callie.

Best thing you ate this weekend?

My mom made Beef Stroganoff last night and it was delicious!!

What are you wearing?

A white dress from Francesca's and a grey sweater with navy flats.

Busy week ahead or no?

We have a busy/non busy week. Tomorrow is Callie's 9 month appt and this upcoming weekend we will be going to Columbus for DH's grandmother's 90th birthday so we will just be preparing for that and getting things organized.

Best part of your weekend?

I had a pretty good weekend. I found some deals at Kohl's on Friday and I was pretty pumped about them. I got both this jean jacket and dress for $29 after sales, rewards, and a birthday coupon.

 

We also caught all the way up on GOT and were able to watch the finale last night. We literally watched last week's episode, cleaned up dinner and rushed to a friends house to watch. It was SO GOOD, and now we have to wait ten months to watch another.

Worst part of your weekend?

There wasn't really a worst part. I was a little bummed on Saturday when I found out something. Saturday I went to a wedding shower for our neighbor. It was beautiful and so nicely done. They were leaving right for the bach party afterwards. I wasn't invited and I figured it was just the bridal party going. 

When we were about to leave I realized that another friend, who just began dating one of the guys, was going. I was hurt that I wasn't invited but I brushed it off. They posted pictures, and the girl who wasn't a bridal party member, was the only one who didn't have a matching shirt as the rest of the party. I was talking to another friend and we are convinced this girl invited herself. I don't feel so bad knowing that I would have just been an odd man out. 

Best thing you ate this weekend?

We made steak and grilled potatoes last night and they were soooooo good. 

What are you wearing?

Blue capris, and a blue and white floral shirt. Super boring.

Busy week ahead or no?

Yes, we have our annual 4th party this weekend so we have to get the house ready. We usually have 75-100 people every year. It is so much fun!

A friend and I drove out to the beach yesterday morning and then went and had pizza.  It was glorious.

Worst part of your weekend? 

There weren't really any bad parts.  It was too damn hot to run on Saturday like I had planned, but that was it.

Best thing you ate this weekend? 

Saturday evening I went out to dinner at this new place near my apartment and they had this incredible chocolate cheesecake/chocolate cake combo that made my entire week.

What are you wearing? 

I start teaching again today so I'm in grown-up clothes...but it's about 100 out with 10000% humidity so it had to be something cool.

Busy week ahead or no?

Very.  I start teaching again today, but my other class doesn't start until next week...but once it does I won't have time to do anything other than teach and grade, so I'm trying to get some things finished this week that have to get done before then.

We went to the drive-in on Saturday and sleeping in alllll weekend!

Nope! I need to get some plans going for the 4th! Other than that it will be beach, reading, cleaning and looking at 4th-5th grade novels that I can read in small group next year.

GUYS! The Supreme Court told Texas to eat sand today! http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/supreme-court-strikes-down-strict-abortion-law-n583001 I am so happy! This "law" was absolutely horrible and goddamnit...I wish people would come to the realization that abortion is so so important for so many reasons and to quit trying to fuck around with a woman's right to access and have an abortion when and if she ever needs one.

Best part of your weekend? Definitely Sunday with my family. Going to the pool with Callie and @southernpeach89 was even more fun than I thought it would be!

Worst part of your weekend? Probably doing yardwork in 100 degree heat. That was...not fun.

@labro I'm so proud of the Supreme Court! The entire abortion debate makes me twitchy.  Same as the gay rights debate.  Anyone who tries to argue that either are wrong, I always ask, "Why do you care? Does it affect you personally? No, then it is none of your business!"

I got to go see Flight of the Conchords on Saturday! That was kind of a bucket list item for me, so I'm really glad I splurged on the tickets. They were hilarious. I don't think my BF could understand anything they were saying, haha! Eugene Mirman was only okay.

Worst part of your weekend?

I read all three Hunger Games books between Friday and last night. They ended too quickly! I want more!

Best thing you ate this weekend?

I didn't eat anything particularly exciting. BF made Hawaiian style mac salad to go with dinner last night, and that tasted awesome.

What are you wearing?

A white Guess blazer, blue cami, jeans, and my new shoes that I got for the wedding! Trying to break them in so I don't absolutely die on the day of.

Best part of your weekend?  Ani slept 6 hours guys!  6 hours in a ROW AT NIGHT.  The trade off if she doesn't sleep during the day unless she is being held but I got a ergo carrier I'm going to wear with her in it when H is at work and I need my hands.  

Worst part of your weekend?  Ani has witching hours from 8-11 pm most nights and it is NOT fun.  H and I have had a few snappy moments but thankfully we seem to trade off when the other one is impatient.

Best thing you ate this weekend?  Gluten free pizza and wine.

What are you wearing?  Ummm, sweat pants and a milk covered maternity shirt?  G-L-A-M-O-R-OUS baby.

Busy week ahead or no?  I feel like every week is busy lately.

Thank you guys.  I think the photographer did a fabulous job...Ani was crying for most of the hour she was at our house despite us trying to tire her out with a bath before hand.  I was very impressed with her...even though she seemed really, really young.
