Traditional Music for Processional

Hi Ladies,

What did you use for your maids' entrance? I'm going with all traditional/classical music. Thanks!

We're using the Overture from "The Marriage of Figaro" for our family and wedding party's entrance and "Ode to Joy" for our entrance.

For our recessional, we're using a country-folk arrangement of "Amazing Grace" and "Variations on a Shaker Tune, from Appalachian Spring."

17. "Rondeau" (from Abdelezar), (Henry Purcell)
18. "Rondeau" (theme from Masterpiece Theater), (Jean Joseph Mouret)
19. "Sonata in G Major" (Giuseppe Tartini)
20. "Triumphal March" (Edvard Grieg)

(I took out  a few because I didn't think they would be appropriate.)

I would add the following:
21. Canon in D by Pachelbel
22.  Jesu, Son of Man's Desiring by Bach
23.  Air on a G String by Bach

I just reread that as "we had 21 bridesmaids." Lawd, child! I almost died!
