Last night, we were watching The Conjuring, and I'm sitting there hands over my eyes (the only way I can watch scary movies), and the mom goes to open the creepy wardrobe in the oldest daughter's bedroom.... and DH grabs me and screams "BOO!"

I almost stabbed him.  I was so pissed I didn't return to the living room for 20 minutes.

Yes, my engineer DH talks backwards.  Instead of a simple sentence structure, "I'm going to mow the lawn," he says "Because I watched TV this morning (pause), and because I was out late last night with the astronomy club, (pause) I should have come home earlier, (pause) I was really tired this morning, (pause), anyway, I think I should mow the lawn." Augh!  He is not capable of answering a simple Yes or No question.

So true. It helps me stay patient if I picture his glasses as a computer screen running code.
