It's like you feel robbed when that happens!  They do sound awesome, thanks for the warning.

Last year I bought a whole case at Costco of the Starbucks Pumpkin Cappuccino (something like that ).  I drank one and then returned them.  Kind of felt like a jerk, but they were not as advertised and I would never have drunk a second one.  They had zero coffee or pumpkin flavor. 

It tasted like someone poured a cup of sugar into a glass a milk, then SLIGHTLY sprinkled some nutmeg and cinnamon in.  They were so gross.

I also have taken a facebook break. Between the hard core Trump supporters in my family, and the  people I went to high school with I had to get off of there. The comments were driving me bananas. I posted a link to the Trump tapes when it first leaked with a caption that said ""I'm sorry if anyone was offended" is not an apology" and it blew up with comments from people defending him, and saying HRC is just as bad because she stayed in her marriage, and I just can't now. I deleted the Facebook app and turned off notifications and commenting for my posts and am taking a break until after the election (maybe longer?). 

FTR there was no dramatic "I'm leaving social media", I just shut everything down. Feels pretty good. 

I just posted about this on the Chit Chat board, but a Washington Post article came out today about how Trump was bragging on the Howard Stern show (in 2005) about one of the "perks" of owning the Miss USA pageant was being able to walk in on the contestants when they were changing.  The WP also interviewed a former contestant who verified that he did indeed do that.  She also pointed out (paraphrasing), "Who were we going to complain to?  He owned the pageant and everyone there worked for him."  That would be the definition of sexual harassment.

He reportedly did the same thing at the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant, where some of the contestants were as young as 15.

Do you know what really bothers me about that?  In my circle, at least, there is pretty substantial overlap between people who are pro-HB2 and people who support Trump.

So let me get this straight:  they claim that trans people cannot possibly use the bathroom that conforms to their gender identity, because OMG PERVERTS AND WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?!?!  Despite the fact that there is zero--ZEE-RO--evidence that trans men and women are molesting children in public restrooms.  And yet at the same time, these pro-HB2 voters are prepared to give their vote to a man who:

a) Advocated grabbing women "by the pussy" and touted being able to get away with it when you're a "star."  (His term, not mine.)

b) Walked in on Miss USA contestants when they were changing, purely to satisfy his most prurient impulses...and bragged about it.

c) Referred to his own daughter as "a voluptuous piece of ass" on Howard Stern and elsewhere discussed his infant daughter's (Tiffany's) future legs and breasts.

d) Y'all, I could go on and on and on, but I have to get back to work.  But you know the rest.

And yet trans people are the creepy perverts we all need to protect our children from?  And this guy is the one who is going to Make America Great Again???

Y'all, I don't know what I'm looking forward to more on election day:  voting for Hillary, or tossing effing Pat McCrory and his party out of office.

The bolded is the one of the few things I'm sad about not being in NC for anymore. 

Also, I still get TONS of crap from the RNC in NC about local elections. Addressed to me in OH, where I'm registered to vote.
