So when booking the venue for our wedding we got excited at the prospect of having the wedding day and sangeet in the same hotel. Contracts have been signed and weeks later I'm starting to worry about the logistics of the ballroom we reserved for the Sangeet. It's smaller than the one we'll use for the wedding day so we are having a smaller guest list for this event but it has an added challenge of windows, columns, and low ceilings. We have been told that with a mixture of seating (tables, high tops, soft seating around the dance floor) we can accommodate around 280 people.
Any ideas on how to make the space still feel special and not cramped?
