Sorry for the delay. New job is leaving no Knot time.
I woke up on Saturday with a sore throat, but still manage to still do the hike at 5pm. Out of 265 participants I came in 251. Ha. These people were pretty hard core and trained well, which I didn't. That said, I was happy to be apart of the race. I hope to do it again. My new job has me walking 2 miles uphill (in snow) for an elevation of 1800 or so feet. So I think I will be better prepared next year.
I want to thank you again for your help. We raised over $100K towards organ/tissue donation.
What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests. Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.
