I am looking for advice on venues for ceremony/reception. I am really into the idea of a state or regional park wedding in the Phoenix area. I am wondering if any other brides out there have done this, and how they went about transforming the space to be event ready?
My fiancé and I go to Lake Pleasant Regional Park all the time and we think it would be awesome to have the reception there. Does anyone know if permits are required to throw an event on the lake shore there? I have looked at the Lake Pleasant Outdoor Center but am imagining something different..
I am just in love with desert landscape and want that incorporated in our day (on a budget). I would like to just pick a random spot in desert and hold an event there. (LOL) But I am not sure about the land requirements or how I would figure that out.
Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated
