My fiance is a chef in NYC and we would ideally like to have a wedding where we can bring in our own food and cooks, however it would not be a proper catering company, so we would still need table, chairs, plates, etc. In order to do this, we are mostly looking at private properties in the to have a house big enough. We don't have a huge budget, and are trying to find a way to make this work. Has anyone else every done a wedding like this? If so, do you have suggestions on how to make it work on a smaller budget. Or any suggestions on venues that let you bring in your own food and cooks, but use their catering staff?
