Mixing colors

I recently purchased a white wedding dress without sleeves. It has pretty detailed beading and I've been having trouble finding a topper that matches to cover my arms during the mass. I just found a gorgeous one; however, it's in ivory. What do I do? It is alright to mix white and ivory?

I think it should be fine...can you share pics? The other option, if you're worried about white & ivory not matching right, would be to find something in the color your BMs are wearing. I've always liked the wedding dresses that have a sash or small accent of the color of the BM dresses.

I think you're fine, but if you're really concerned, try @ahoywedding's suggestion of something in your bridesmaids' colors.

ETA: The more I look at the white and ivory contrast, the more I like it. That ivory is almost more of a pale gold or champagne color and would look very elegant with the white dress.

I think that looks really nice, especially with the beading on your dress! I think ivory and white can intermingle, as long as you have things that tie them into each other, which it looks like you do. Very pretty
