Facebook comments snark

Even though I've been married ~a year and a half I still get targeted posts about weddings and honeymoons and the like. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1929377877282706&id=1609774472576383 

This link popped up and I was ready to roll my eyes so hard my retinas detached and I would go blind, but I was pleasantly pleased at the list. The comments, though. So many "But it's their day, they can have a cash bar and ask for $$$$ and have a dollar dance, it's their day!!" Infuriating, but maybe there were a handful of people considering the things on the list who then reconsidered once they saw some reasoning behind why it's no good. There is hope, but that hope is never in the comments section.

I lose faith in humanity whenever I read comment sections on FaceBook. It literally does not matter what the topic is - environmental protection, missing children, celebrity donations to charity, politics.....

Even seemingly benign stuff that you'd think everyone could agree on like "Area woman volunteers at a soup kitchen every Sunday for 50 years" will still get crazy-person comments like "well must be nice to be so privileged and have free time" or "she's ugly" or some other word garbage.
