...desperately needed: Hair Stylist who will work Onsite...

...It's crunch time, and I have yet to secure an affordable hair stylist for my January wedding....

....what I need is someone who can come to me, I will be staying at a hotel, and style my hair, as well as 4-5 others.

I can not stress the affordability factor enough. One place quoted me 200$ for me (not including a tip) and 125$ for my matron, and the mothers. We simply can not afford that.

Perhaps I'm hopelessly out of touch, but my matron of honor was married less than 5 years ago, and said that 125$ for me, would be reasonable. I can't believe things could've changed that much in a few short years....

ANY suggestions at this point would be useful....thanks....

    ...never miind...makeup artist recommended someone...she's cheap as all hell, I just hope she's competent and good....

    Let me know how you like both your hair and make-up! I'm looking for make-up and hair to travel to my hotel as we won't be able to get ready at the venue b/c there is an afternoon wedding. I have yet to find something in my price range. Thx!!!

    Im looking for inexpensive hair and makeup too but my wedding is in upper Westchester...if you can send over info that would be great-especially if you are happy...Ive had some outrageous quotes and even did trials where I was totally unhappy and they wanted $150-200!
