New Hyde Park area shower suggestions

Hi Ladies!

I am getting married in another state, but I am originally from Long Island.  Since all my family and most of my close friends are in New York, I want to have my shower on Long Island.  My mother is starting to think about places to book, and I was wondering if anyone had any reasonably priced suggestions.  It would be a lunch time shower.  I'm hoping to invite 40-50 people, but I know my mother would like to avoid spending a lot of money.  Any info would be appreciated!!

    Jonathan's on Jericho Turnpike is really nice.  I'm not too sure on the pricing for that place.  La Marmite is also in the area and very nice.
