I just visited Maryland a couple of weeks ago to spend time with my children (grown) and grandchildren, so I feel very good today!
Just had a funny phone conversation with daughter, who was a passenger in the family car, driven by her DH. "I got flowers and a lovely card!" she said.
A male voice growled "...and chocolate."
"What? Chocolate? I didn't see any chocolate!"
"Later, when the kids are asleep!" was his reply.
I knew she chose the right man for her!
