I definitely think you can change more on a BsT site than a garage sale. But it can be a pain in the butt to sell that way too IMO

I've only actually met up with someone once. Most stuff is porch pick up

Sold another $7. Bummer is you can only post 10 things at a time.so I need to wait till tomorrow.

I'm all about porch pickup! A few times I've bought something and then the person pulls the "where to meet" thing and I'm all I want to be anti-social and just pick it up from your house, I don't want to actually have to coordinate meeting, let alone interact.

I've just been selling some maternity and baby stuff but I get so annoyed by people who flake on pick up or say they want something then go MIA and then decide they don't actually want it.

Ditto. I see some people list porch pick up for items that are like $50-100 or more and I think that is crazy. I never sell anything where if I didn't get the $$ it would be a big deal. I mean at some point half this stuff will probably go to Goodwill. 

The most I've ever sold was $17 worth of maternity clothes. Usually my stuff has been more in the $5 range. The most expensive I've bought is $15 a few times I think.

Hahahahaha...not in my city.  You can guar-on-tee it will get stolen, though not necessarily from the person picking it up.

The good news:  I finished my big project from last week and the big boss seemed pleased with it.

The bad news:  I feel like, "Yay!  Project out the door, so I'm done for the day."  Except I'm not, lol.  Still have one hour left and zero motivation to start on anything else.

Yay it's Monday.      Okay, okay, for the rest of you it's the start of your week.  For me it's Saturday

A friend and I did a 11+ mile hike.  It was so beautiful.  See my pic below.
Had some steep places, but mostly easy.  It took us less than 5 hours to complete.  

 We are both trying to knock out the "best" 52 hikes in the area according to some book.     She has a head start since she has been here years longer than me.  I'm up to 11.  Might try to bang out another 7+ mile one tomorrow that she has already done.  

A few of the hikes we can't do because there is still snow on the higher elevations or elks are having calves, so the trails are closed for 6 weeks.  So I'm trying to get to the lower elevation (6000-9000 feet) now.  Plus those start getting too hot as the season goes on.  I'm hoping to knock out another 15 this summer.   Depends if DH gets this job or not.  

Which BTW - he is there right now.  Tasting is tomorrow.  Wish him luck.  I think????     I mean,  I don't want him to fail, but I wouldn't cry a river if the succeeded but the money isn't what we want.     DH's friend talked to him yesterday and told him the job will be hard for DH, he should just stay where we are.  Blah, blah.   No man, we get it, you want the job and think you deserve it more because your want off the island and your wife is from FL.  It's just so awkward, at least we live thousands of miles and an part of a sea away from each other.


VENT - Today was gorgeous.   Tank top, shorts, etc.  Even at 9000 feet.  By Thursday they are predicting high of 43 and snow.       Oh well, if that is the only thing I could complain about, I'm doing well.

I honestly think he is really that desperate to get out of his current job and off the island.  He has been looking for over a year now.    Since we are not actually unhappy here, he feels like his feelings should trump ours.    

Funny thing it's out of all of our control at this time.  DH's tasting is today.  2 others were last week.   It's up to the club to decide who they want.
