I'm inviting an entire family to a wedding, but they have different last names. So I can't just say The Smiths. The mother is widowed/now remarried, and has changed her name. However, the children have kept their father's name.
Would it be best to do something like this?
John and Jane Smith (Parents)
Anne and Alex Roberts (Children)
Address
Also if the "kids" are over 18 (but still live with their parents) should they get separate invites?
Thank you!!
Re: How to address an invite
CMG is the addressing guru here.
But you would write the married couples' names on one line and the children go on a separate line below. Yes, anyone who is an adult, regardless of where they live, should receive a separate invitation. And if they are in a relationship, should be invited with their significant other.
