I'm pissed.

I had agreed to do another show fundraiser  I don't feel any particular connection to the person I was doing it for, but it's a good connection for K and I know person just wants me b/c I understand that fundraising means bring bodies/monies and I do that.  Fine, it's a professional favor, this is how things work.

I just messaged person in charge to let them know that my September calendar is filling up and I'd like a confirmed date so I can keep that night open.  Person messages me back that they moved the fundraiser up to August 12.  Are you effin' kidding me?!  You moved it up almost six weeks (rough estimate was September 29 previously) and didn't bother to tell me?!  And if I hadn't asked, barely a month out, would you have bothered to tell me?!  Rude AF.  Consider this bridge burned the hell down on my end.

And if person didn't want me to do the show (which is actually what I suspect might've happened, b/c of unrelated BS), adult please, and tell me rather than letting me find out on my own.

Tomorrow is DH's birthday.  Sadly we are both working late tomorrow.   I decided to buy him a Harley-Davidson mesh riding jacket.   It's so odd.  I never thought we would be Harley riders with riding jackets and such.   LOL.   But I do like the bike.

My H's birthday was on Sunday!
