Soooo I wouldn't do well there.  The only time I want to be at work is in the Summer when they can run the a/c and not me  I usually like to get away in the winter to hotter climates where they think its "cold" (I'm looking at YOU Southern California!) and I think it's perfect.  And then in the fall.  Spring sometimes too.  Summer is my time to work!

She was already living in Southern CA.  So winter was probably just as well to be working, lol.  I mean, it sometimes dips into the low 50s out there :P.  Whereas, the high 70s of summer with cool ocean breezes are even better.

I've joked to my H...except it's not really a joke...that we should be "summer birds" when we retire.  Live in NOLA most of the year.  Then GTFO during the nightmare of summer and have a place somewhere cooler.  I have my sights on Tahoe.  Rent our vacation cabin out on AirBnB for a fortune during the high season of winter.  Enjoy it for ourselves in the summertime.

Oh.  Yeah.  I sometimes forget some people don't even have to deal with snow.  This is why I need to win the lottery.  So I can move around and get perfect weather.  Other reasons too, of course, but mostly finding perfection.

I have never lived where it snows.  I love snow!  But that's because I only visit it once in a great while on vacation.  I'm sure vacationing with it is much more enjoyable than living in it and trying to commute to work in it.

Hey everyone!!! I got the All Clear from MFM at 6:30pm!! Finally got to my car in the garage at 7, and was home eating a lobster roll my H got me for dinner by 7:45!

I am home on bedrest on the condition that I monitor my BP (had to pick up a BP cuff on the way home) and report to them anything too high (they gave me parameters). I have a follow-up appointment plus lab work and another ultrasound on Friday, and from there I will either be sent back home on continued bedrest until I am induced sometime next week (most likely) or I will be readmitted and then probably induced over the weekend. 

So lots of R&R for me over the next few days and no work. I have to go into the office for an hour tomorrow to pack up my stuff and sign some maternity leave paperwork but then will go home and rest. And I'm planning on sleeping in tomorrow am and commuting after rush hour to keep the trip in relatively low-stress. 

I must say my bed has never felt so comfy as it does right now.

Thank you! I'm hoping she can hold off until next week as well. Also, this little one is a huge lobster fan already! I was never a real lobster person prior to getting pregnant (could take it or leave it), but for the past 8 weeks I've been craving it like crazy!! Oh well, what Babypants wants, Babypants gets.
