Picture Location Question

I am looking for a location indoor or outdoor that I can use in December for pictures. 

I have about 1.5 hours to spare for pictures and I have no idea where I can go.  I know that I can take pictures at the reception hall, but kind of wanted somewhere different.

Reception hall is in the Port Jefferson area - any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    we had ours taken pre-ceremony at vanderbilt mansion in centerport. it was in november so the weather could've gone either way-i wanted indoor in case of bad weather and outdoor in case of good. turned out to be 75 and sunny. outdoor it was.
