looking for some feedback on what to wear for a Christian/Hindu combined ceremony. For the ceremony I want to wear a white dress with the bridesmaids wearing a ‘western’ style bridesmaid dress and I want my fiancé and groomsmen to wear indian clothes. Then for the reception I want myself and the bridesmaids to change into saris and the guys to change into suits. My mil and some other people think this will look weird but I think it would be a beautiful representation of accepting each other’s traditons. Any thoughts or pictures? Or has anyone done something similar?
