Anyone doing NaNoWriMo?

Is anyone doing National Novel Writing Month this year? I haven't done it in a couple years, but I'm on a really good track this year. I'm ahead by about 1,700 words, which is a full day of writing. That'll come in handy around Thanksgiving and my parents being in town for a long weekend. 

For those who don't know, NaNoWriMo is a challenge to write a 50,000-word novel during the month of November.

Maybe next year I will. I've had a few stories bouncing around my head for awhile

Several students at my school are participating.  It’s definitely a challenge!

I've signed up, but a grandparent visit and a flu have eaten up my first 7 days. Pray for me!

@nicgetsknotted, I'm a day ahead and I'm trying to get more ahead because my parents are visiting for a long weekend later this month. Then of course, there's Thanksgiving.

Wow! That's impressive. I like the challenge and will start writing. It's something I've been wanting to do and need to discipline myself.

Will probably start with a short story or novella and see how it goes...

On the board with 2210 words. Not great I know, but starting is the hardest part!
