I just booked dives in the GA Aquarium's whale shark tank for DK and I, for Feb.

    I had to google this, because I kinda knew what it was...but kinda didn't.  I got some real cool youtube videos.  Something I'd love to do!  Have fun!

    Fun!!  DH and I are looking into Cancun this summer so we can swim with the whale sharks there.  No scuba diving offered though, only snorkelling.  Have a great time!

    @winstonsgirl I bet you could find a whale shark dive in Cancun, as long as you're certified. (they may even have it as an introductory dive, if you're not).

    If you'd like, I can ask our dive school if they have any recommendations.

    We're talking about doing a dive trip to Cozumel in June - but we need to know more about the hotel and childcare options. (E.g. if they have a program for kids, we could dive in the morning with the group from our school, and then have family time the rest of the day)

    We are certified, so that's not an issue.  But everywhere I've looked was snorkel only.  I wonder if it's just for safety, so you don't disappear off following the sharks trying to get good photos and end up lost or way too deep.  If you do hear of any recommendations, awesome, but don't trouble your self.
