Flowers

Just wanted to get any referrals for florist and what is the average price?

I used Ivy League in Southold and Ginger was awesome all around. Great pricing for what we wanted, and she put my thoughts into a perfect reality with everything she did.

There's really no average pricing to give you, it all depends on how big your wedding is, what kind of flowers you want, how big you want the arrangements, how many people your getting bouquets/bouts for, etc. It varies greatly.

Ditto Ana. If you are more West, Lindenhurst Village Florist is wonderful. Vivian is the owner and for the most part, the only employee. It is a very personal shop and she has been so wonderful about everything.

if you want a florist you can go to just about any one there is on Long Island...however, if you want THE BEST FLORIST you should look no further than Roots Florist in Port Jefferson.

Ana has it right - you can get flowers for very inexpensive and then again, they can be very pricey. I love my florist... Heidi from Sugar Magnolias.. and her work is amazing.

I also liked Flowers by Brian - their prices were a bit less than my florist, but what they offered was quite wonderful.

I used Heidi from Sugar Magnolias too! She was great and I felt she wasn't pricey at all! I wasn't big into a lot of flowers so I got my centerpieces (12 of them) my bouquet, bridal party 4 girls/guys, parents, grandparents, some extra flowers for inside giorgio's - like bathroom and escort table for under 2000. I used hydrangeas and roses and they were beautiful! Shades of purple - that was my color:-)
Rdomb - don't worry about ceremony flowers - the little garden out at giorgio's was BEAUTIFUL enough!! My date was 6-27-10 everything was in bloom and gorgeous out there!

Thanks Lynn - I am getting married this AUGUST. Looks like we have a lot in common with venue, flowers, etc. You're always making me feel better about my location!

I am using Flowers by Burton in Huntington/Melville. His prices are great and you can pick any flower you want for the same price.

We just booked ours.  Country Arts Florist in W. Hempstead.  The owner is a friend of a friend of ours and gave us a great price!  Everything for 2k!

i went with flowers by burton too...im just a little worried that it was just too easy going when i met with them there....like he didnt even know my wedding colors or anything. i have heard good things about Flowers by Bria. Even though we booked Burton (which i felt a little pressured in to) im still going to get pricing from brian.
