My fiance and I are getting married at Feast at Roundhill May 2019. We have been considering asking my brother to become ordained online and be our officiant as we both feel a special connection to him. However, after doing some research and thinking about it further it seems like it might be a better idea to get an experienced officiant for the day, seeing as though there are various components that you want to run smoothly for the ceremony.. We are also concerned that we may be putting too much pressure on my brother. Another concern is that it may be too emotional before me with my brother marrying us.
Has anyone had a family member woth no experience officiate their day? Any thoughts on the topic? Does anyone have any recommendations for officiants in the area at they loved?
