Location for engagement shoot

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for ideas for locations in Long Island for our e-shoot in March/April. We're looking for something urban, like an area with cool graffiti.  Also looking for a cozy coffee shop. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    you should take a look in Queens which is not too far and go to Five Points...Google it and you will see just how cool it is.

    Yeah, I actually live by Five Points but the photography studio is in Long Island (and my fiance lives there) so we want to stay in the Long Island/more eastern area.

    hmm. it is hard for graffiti, I do not see much out this way. what studio are you working with? they may be able to do some research. you can try to Google graffiti on Long Island.

    What part of LI? There's some areas in downtown Riverhead, but that might be a bit far for you.

    Yeah, that is right, there are some spots in Riverhead. I was just at the aquarium yesterday and saw some. There is a nice alley with some grafitti work that would probably look really nice in photos.

    Be careful with that area in riverhead, lots of drugs and gangs even if it seems really nice during the day.
