It's not even cold here! It was above freezing today!

Yeah this is a wet warm snow. Come on. I guarantee you there's at least one bar within a 2 minute walk of his hotel too (if he's staying in the Loop area). 

Tsk, tsk.  Even this "hot house flower" would be out playing in snow and stomping around, if I was in Chicago.

Now I want to go back for more bar hopping and eating, lol.

Update - the driveway is plowed and the hub has snow pants on with the kids while playing in the backyard.  He's a good egg.

We both lived in Iowa.  When it was time to retire, we skipped happily to the western Grand Valley of Colorado where there are NO WEATHER PROBLEMS!  Wise decision!  Stay safe, everybody!

We arrived home last night traveling through several snow squalls - I'm over winter. We left beautiful blue skies and drove home to gray snowy skies - bleck! On the upside, our kitchen floor is finished and it looks awesome. I couldn't sleep this morning so I got up super early and mopped it so now we can start moving stuff back into the kitchen. Backsplash starts next week!

Hope all you knotties in the snowstorm belt are safe!

Those squalls were crazy!! DH took DefConn to jiujitsu and it was sunny.  When it was done, it was near white-out. Jiujitsu is an hour.
