Getting ready attire for men and women

Yea. For one wedding, I did not like the dress style, but it was her choice and I didn't say anything. And the dress sat in the back of my closet for a year and went to the thrift store during our last move. 

That same wedding, our "gifts" were matching necklaces that matched the dresses to wear during the wedding. Ooh, the groom's sister hand made them! Sure, they're nice, but not something I wear. But I said, "oh, thank you!" I have yet to wear it again, and it's sitting in the back of the drawer with other jewelry I don't wear.
