Indoor Photo Locations

I am getting married in September and starting to plan ahead in case it rains. Does anyone know of any good ideas for indoor photos around the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, like between mount prospect thru Schaumburg area. Thanks for the help!

Re: Indoor Photo Locations

  • Your best bet would be to start looking at the interiors of local hotels, such as the Hyatt.  The Metropolis would be pretty.  The Renaissance Hotel has a gorgeous staircase.

Are you looking for formal, fun, or quirky?  There are some farms in Schaumburg that may allow you to shoot a few photos, and there is a conservatory in Mt. Prospect that has an atrium.  It is also a popular spot for weddings, so they may not allow you to "crash" their property for photos.

Some flower garden centers may still have some pretty backdrops in their atriums.  There are plenty of quirky spots in Woodfield, Streets of Woodfield, or even the Japanese grocery center in Arlington Heights.  You could check out some of the libraries in the area.

Are you using a professional photographer? If so, they can usually recommend some locations that they have worked on before.
  • We are using professional photographer, however all of their locations are outside
