I’m getting married in the Carnival horizon on October 17th in Grand Cayman!

has anyone been married on any carnival ship while docked in port? I’ve read lots of reviews from past brides that have gotten married in a different port off the ship, but haven’t found any like mine. Trying to narrow down a timeline

I've not done it, but just one word of caution. It's always a little dicey to plan on the cruise ship following the itinerary exactly. Weather patterns, storms, etc can all affect the path the ship takes. It's not common, but does happen often enough that it's something to take into consideration. The only way around this would maybe be to cover the cost of the cruise for all your guests & your officiant, and look into the marriage laws for each country you'll be stopping in. That way if your schedule doesn't go as planned, you can still have your legal ceremony. I totally understand the desire to get married in a beautiful location instead of the port before you leave, but logically just be aware that things can go awry on a cruise.
