East Coast Beach Wedding on a Budget... need help!

Looking for a place to have a budget friendly (LESS than $2,000) wedding ceremony and small reception for 40 or less people. We’re looking at northern Florida or somewhere in North or South Carolina. OBX is out because there is no nearby airport. Trying to schedule in September!!  Any suggestions?

There are state specific boards on which you can ask, but I do not know whether they are active.

Have you tried googling beachfront restaurants in these states?  I would think with the intimate guest list, you could find several restaurant options that could meet your needs.  You could also try googling ocean front resorts in some of the towns you are considering.
