Honeymoon Help!

I know this category may come up alot but just needing some help and suggestions! We are planning our honeymoon the week of October 6th, and planning on staying about a week. We would like an all inclusive resort on the beach. All we care about doing is spending most of our time at the beach and eating, and wanting a place that is clean! We have talked with a travel agent, but wanted to see what places everyone loved! I would love a place with beautiful blue water as well. Price range about 4,000 - 5,000 total for the two of us. Was thinking about Hawaii but they have no all inclusive resorts there So maybe a Sandals resort? The more money saved is even better! Open to any suggestions possible! Thank you in advance!

We've been to resorts in Jamaica and Turks and Caicos which we're really nice, but St John and Gallows point resort were far better than our expectations.

Gallows point was fantastic, the Villa was large and there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed, so we didn't need to go out for drinks, but rather made our own and sat by the pool or the beach. The concierge made all the arrangements for our car rental and really helped with much of the planning for fun things to do. They even made some great recommendations for where (and when) to bar hop. And the gift shop had all the alcohol (beer, rum whiskey) that we needed and plenty of things to mix with.

The walk into town (Cruz Bay) took about 6 minutes at a slow walk. In town there was music at night and a really nice bar on the beach (High Tide). The resort offers a shuttle service to the ferry terminal, but the stroll takes no more than 10 minutes to walk with your luggage. There are lots of good places to eat in town and Gallows point has its own restaurant, but you will need reservations. The concierge can help with reservations for anything on the island.

The snorkeling at the Gallows point beach was wonderful. Lots of coral and fish right outside of our room, the only thing we didn't see at Cruz Bay were the turtles. The gift snorkeling stuff for rent and you can sign out beach chairs to take to any of the beaches on the island. And maybe the best thing about the resort was it's not crowded. At other resorts you need to get up and reserve beach chairs very early in the AM if you want to have a place to sit. At Gallows point there are lots of chairs, so nobody feels compelled to reserve seats.

The resort has washers and driers for guests to use and two nice propane grills if you feel like grilling. Starfish market is about a 20-minute walk away and they have everything (including alcohol and mixers) that you could want. But be prepared, they DO NOT provide bags! You can't even buy them there.

In Cruz Bay you can take a sailing excursion, rent paddle boards, rent a dingy and motor around the island or just snack on ice cream and shop. There's a dive shop that offers introductory drive trips for those not certified and advanced trips for people with PADI certification.

We were at the Gallows point for 12 days and it rained for about 10 minutes every morning (beginning of April) but it was sunny every afternoon. High tempers each day were about 85 and lows were in the upper 70s. Absolutely perfect weather. The room has AC and ceiling fans or just open the windows for some fresh air.
