Photographer won’t have passport in time! Help!

One of my good friends has had a major issue occur. She’s all set to get married in Jamaica 08/05/2019 and she just found out that her photographer from the states will not have her passport back in time! She would need a photographer to arrive 08/03/19 and stay through 8/05/19. If anyone has any recommendations or names of any other photographers wanting to travel short notice, please reply. She has contacted Sandals to let them know but would prefer not using the resort photographer unless she absolutely has no other choice.

You're going to be better off looking at a local board for something like this.

That said, this is peak season so on short notice she's probably better off working with her resort photographer OR seeing if there's a possibility that her photographer can expedite her passport.

There's also about 16 cities throughout the US that have government offices for expediting passports.  I think the parameters are the person needs to have travel that is already booked within two weeks.  Those offices can turn around a passport in 2-3 business days.  For an extra fee, of course.  One of my coworkers used one after she booked a trip to Punta Cana.  She thought she didn't need a passport.  Found out she did something like the week before.  And was able to get one in time.

Off the top of my head, those special offices are in Miami, D.C., NYC, New Orleans, Atlanta, Chicago, and Los Angeles.  I'm sure you can find the full list with a Google search.

Thanks!  I refreshed my memory.  More offices than I had thought.

I remember it making me laugh last time also.  It's all the biggest cities in the U.S...

And then a few randoms, like New Orleans and Hot Springs, that I assume are "fillers" when bigger cities start getting too far apart from each other.
