Hi all!

Like many of you, I am starting to freak out about my wedding date this year.

We are getting married July 18th, 2020 and we are having a very SMALL wedding (about 20 people). The ceremony will be on the beach in Cape Cod and then we were planning to go to a restaurant. Our parents (all 65+) and my 92 year old grandmother are coming for older folks.

So far, we've put a deposit down for the photographer and my hair and make-up. Everyone has already booked their housing and my fiance's family booked their flights. How long would you suggest waiting it out to make the call if we should postpone or not?

Honestly, I would wait until the middle of May to make any decisions. It's possible that things will still be touch and go, but it's possible that we will be on our way to returning to normal. With such a small group, it should be relatively easy to change location if your ceremony venue or the restaurant does not reopen, but we're otherwise returning to normalcy. 

In the meantime, it's worth it to go ahead and reach out to the vendors you've booked and ask what the process will be if you end up needing to postpone.

I would talk to the venue and then see. 

The venue is most likely closed now or doing take out only due to the restrictions MA has placed.   Salons are impacted as a nonessential business.  

Big concern facing the Cape now is that it's going to be warm by July.   And if every NYer that has a house on the Cape goes there soon they are bringing the virus with them.
